Growing up, my grandparents and mother religiously told me stories of the places they lived and the memories they shared. All of them involved the environment and landscape they enjoyed and missed. Having those stories instilled into my memory at such a young age created a fantasy of the natural world around me. Because of this personal struggle with the idea nature is disappearing before my eyes, through climate change and the actions of political leaders, printing the images of landscapes connects my family history with my fear the environment is fading away.
